On behalf of the children, staff and Governors I would like to welcome you to the Diamond Wood Community Academy school website.
We are a school which believes in the value of every child and adult who enters our doors. As such, we want all those who become part of our school community, whether a child or an adult, to feel valued, happy and respected.
We offer a warm and caring environment, which enables children to feel safe and secure as they grow, learn and develop. The first years in school are the most important and can shape children's attitudes to learning. We hope, that by the time the children leave us, they will have developed a good sense of self worth and a stimulated mind, so that they are happy and motivated as they continue on their journey through education.
Within our school, we work very hard to create a team of staff that will support each child in reaching their full potential.
Our vision is A Place to Grow, A place to Shine and we certainly do shine here at Diamond Wood. We pride ourselves on our Diamond Promises of Kind Hands, Kind Words and Kind Hearts and aim for our children to leave us to continue their educational journey with aspiration and hope.
